Clay lends itself more than any other material as an alternative to stone, thanks to its strength and solidity, to which are added the fantastic aesthetic characteristics of terracotta: the bright, fresh, typically Mediterranean colours, whose wonderful shades would “bring to life” even the most desolate little street or square.
